Downtown...

This passed weekend Joaquin and I went down town to find some things for the wedding, We were part of a hippy something parade on our way to the subway stop (people dressed like buda's and painted in gold??). Then we were on our way to downtown Mexico, and some how I got confused, on the subway stop, and we ended up about 30 taxi pesos away from where we need it to go... I guess Juarez does not sound like Allende! honest mistake! haha..
We walked streets and streets of Wedding things, dresses, shoes (which I have not found yet) veils, so many things! I did find a box for my lazo, and my finger less gloves hurray!
We walked some more, and went to a delicious bread place, we bought some, and then shared with my aunt, we are so capable of eating soo much of that bread, don't ask why I know we can eat it all! it's really really good.
I didn't take my camera, on Saturdays there is a lot of people, and I didn't want to worry about getting it stolen, maybe next time i will take some pictures, but I will add some random pics to share with you here...

We graduated from kinder garten, and continued to be in the same schools, never got to be back in the same class but yes, in the same school. When I turned 15, he was a part of the traditional bals... we were in the same high school, and then I move to SD and we kindda lost track, my mom saw him, once I had been in mexico for a month, and we meet again.... look now, on the way to get married! we are 2 months away now,, time has flown by.

Yes, finally got to go to Cancun! we went for Lizette & Sigi's wedding, it was crazy inferno hot! haha but we had fun, with our wedding we really don't have many days for vacation, so it was a quick but nice get away! Got to see some friends as well...
Here is a little collage I made, we got an opportunity to go to Tulum, and Xcaret.

Hey I have a Blog!

Well I have been living here for a year now, and a lot of things are going on... I would have never thought! I am happily engaged with Joaquin, he finished school as an Air Operations official. We are really going to try to travel there are so many places to go too in a relatively short distance. This weekend we went to Morelos, after the BICENTENNIAL celebrations here in Mexico City, it was a lot of fun! in Morelos we went to a water park (so not like the ones in the US) we were swimming in spring water! so nice and warm! came back, and Sunday we had our Pre-marital class, ohh yes we are very close to the day! Monday we had our presentation with the Priest, and now we wait 3 weeks to get our license.
PS. My official last name has changed from Ortiz to Peralta!

I will try to download pictures from my camera, this are ones Vero (in the green shirt) sent me..
